Endure24 Partners with JogOn to Give Running Shoes a Second Life

At Endure24, we’re always looking for ways to make a positive impact both on and off the course. That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with JogOn, the UK’s leading running shoe reuse and recycling initiative.

This year, participants can give their old running shoes another chance by bringing along unwanted pairs and dropping them at the dedicated JogOn collection point during the event.

Together, we can help keep running shoes out of landfill through reuse and responsible recycling, making a positive impact beyond the finish line.

Every Pair Counts

Millions of pairs of running shoes end up in landfill every year, despite many still having useful life left in them. Through its nationwide collection programme, JogOn helps extend the life of running shoes by redistributing suitable pairs to people who need them, while ensuring worn-out footwear is recycled responsibly wherever possible.

By donating your unwanted trainers at Endure24, you’ll be helping to reduce waste, support communities, and contribute to a more sustainable future for our sport.

How to Donate Your Shoes

Taking part is simple:

  • Bring your unwanted running shoes or trainers with you to Endure24.
  • Please make sure they are clean and dry.
  • Tie each pair together using the shoelaces.
  • Drop them into the JogOn collection bin located inside the Catering Marquee.

Whether your shoes have a few more miles left in them or have reached the end of their running journey, every donation can make a difference.

A Positive Impact Beyond the Finish Line

Endure24 is about more than the miles you run. It’s about community, teamwork and making a positive impact together. Through our partnership with JogOn, we’re proud to offer runners another way to give back while taking part in the UK’s favourite 24-hour trail running festival.

Before you pack for Endure24, take a look in your shoe cupboard, garage or kit bag. Those old trainers could help someone else get active or be responsibly recycled instead of ending up in landfill.

Every pair counts. Together, we can keep running shoes moving and give them a new life.
