ABOUT THE 2025 COURSE

Based in the heart of North London, Finsbury Park’s wide, runnable paths offer the perfect terrain for going fast.

Our undulating 2.5km course starts at our Event Village in the south east corner, heading clockwise for a full lap of the park.

Upon finishing, you’ll re-enter the Exchange Zone to pass over to your team mate.

Getting There

Finsbury Park is exceptionally well connected, served by the Victoria and Piccadilly Underground lines, National Rail services linking to central London and beyond, and numerous bus routes providing easy access across North London.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

TEAMS OF 4 RUNNERS

Endure Relays is a race for teams of four runners.

Each runner takes it in turn to run a lap of the course, before passing over to the next teammate in the Exchange Zone at the end of the lap.

You’ll need to think strategically about how to make the most of every runner’s strengths: do you send out your fastest runner first? Or hold back and gauge the competition?

Either way, everyone is welcome – there’s a spot for you in the ranks!

2.5km per lap

We’ve set the course at 2.5km (1.55 miles) to give you and your team as much variety as possible in terms of the goal distances you can target:

9 laps: Half-marathon, 10:40 kms / 16:05 miles
13 laps: Twenty-Miler, 7:23 kms / 11:53 miles
17 laps: Marathon, 5:39 kms / 9:05 miles
20 laps: 50k Ultra, 4:48 kms / 7:43 miles
26 laps: 40-Mile Ultra, 3:42 kms / 6:00 miles

The winning teams will simply be those that go the furthest!

4 HOURS ON THE CLOCK

Kicking off at 10am sharp, your team will have four hours to bank as many laps as you can.

Tactics make a huge difference. Do you go out hard, banking rapid laps with limited rest in between? Or aim for a team negative split, managing your efforts before a late kick?

You can start a new lap right up until 2pm – if you time it right, you might just sneak an extra lap in over the competition.

It could make all the difference!
