We are heading up north to Northumberland, to explore its stunning wilderness. Walk, jog or run the epic 100km trail across stretching moorland, winding rivers and through ancient woodlands to reach the magnificent Bamburgh Castle.
You will get the full Threshold experience, including unrivalled camaraderie from your fellow participants, fully-stocked pitstops laden with food and drink, an overnight Basecamp and tireless support from our staff and medics who will help you every step of the way.
The least populated of the UK’s National Parks, Northumberland national park boasts the cleanest rivers and clearest air along with some of the most breathtaking scenery in England. Our route winds across stunning moorland and through ancient woodland to the coast, where you will be greeted by charming seaside towns on your way to the iconic Bamburgh Castle.
We understand the magnitude of taking on a challenge of this nature and will do everything to support you on each step of your journey. A signed route, well-stocked pit stops, medical support and even bag transport, we take care of everything so you can focus reaching Bamburgh Castle.
Northumberland is bursting with incredible history, from Viking invasions to Norman conquests. Our fully-signed route along St Oswald’s Way is an epic challenge for walkers or runners. Reach the iconic Bamburgh Castle and write your own chapter in the record books!
We offer the option to complete the challenge non-stop, or across two days, where you can relax at the midway Basecamp. With hot food, bars, a stretching area, music, hot showers and your own two-person tent, it offers the perfect setting to unwind, relax and recharge for the next day.
